You know it's a great donut shop when the aroma of fresh made donuts hits you as soon as you open the door. That's everyday at the Donut Wheel. While there are several donut shops between our home and this location, whenever I ask my boys if they want a donut treat (1-2x per month) they'll always ask for the Wheel. There's an amazing selection of different types (cake, old fashioned, traditional, cronuts) and a variety of flavors, including some very unique creations. I'm a sucker for a well made maple old fashioned and there's is top notch. Crispy on the outside and moist inside. My oldest was eyeing up their Oreo monstrosity, but in the end he went with the M&M. Great texture and the LOVED the chocolate icing. My youngest went for the rainbow, a go to for him. Always delicious and always friendly and courteous service.

This place is super nostalgic for me as I came here growing up. I love their glazed donuts and their shaved coconut donuts which are super delicious and taste super fresh. One downside is that there are no chairs inside so you can't actually sit inside and eat. Would definitely go here and its 24/7!

We stayed at Aloft right across the street and our room looked right over at Donut Wheel. I wanted to try it from the 1st day I saw it, but we ended up going on our last day. As soon as I walked in, I was overwhelmed with the amount of donuts that they have! I wanted 1 of everything!! We decided to get the maple bacon, Oreo, cinnamon roll, sprinkled and regular glazed. All were good, but I've had better maple bacon ones. Price point was reasonable, especially for the cinnamon roll which was HUGE.

Was craving vegan donuts, so I went to Donut Wheel, but they had very limited selection of vegan donuts, maybe 8 donuts all together comparing to cases and cases of regular donuts, The man working there was very nice and we chatted for a bit. I bought the maple glazed, it was moist and the sugar to donut ratio was perfect. $4.50 per vegan donut is on a pricy side if you ask me. CC accepted
